Great little breakfast joint. But be prepared to wait 30 minutes on a Sunday though. My friends and family had our annual camping/hiking trip in the fall this year, taking advantage of the foliage. On our last morning, we needed a hearty breakfast before we packed up for the ride back home. Although it was a complete full house, we did not feel rushed at all. It was quite loud in the restaurant as other diners were having great conversation. Spirits seem to run high in this place and everyone seems to be in a good mood. They have a pretty big parking lot, which overflowed onto the street. Yes, it was that busy!

Solid lunch option - offers breakfast all day. Portions are huge. Well priced. Big fan of the country biscuits and gravy: very hearty.

Coming from New York City, I already came to the Poconos expecting the food options to be very limited. However I managed to find Jubilee on Yelp, and was excited to try this place out. The food was exceptional. Classic American food that gave generous portions. The taste was nothing special... however, given the fact that we just came from snowboarding and barely ate anything, the food tasted like it was from heaven. The waitress was very hospitable and was able to strike up conversation with us. It was reasonable priced, coming to 88 dollars for a table of 4. We ordered 3 bowls of soup, two appetizers ( fried calamari and clams) and three entree to share ( steak with sweet potato fries, Cajun penne, and a bacons cheese burger). Note that all of us barely ate anything for well over 10 hours and yet we only ordered 3 entree. This is should give you an idea of how big the portion size is. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars even though everything was spot on, was because if this same location was located where I live, it would be just a normal diner worth around 3 stars. However, because it is located where it is, the expectations and standard are lower and thus I gave it a higher rating

Came for breakfast The place always seems busy morning and evening. Based on most of the other places we visited, this one seems like the best spot for the area. Great pancakes, good specials and combos Very comfortable decor Service was very good even tho they were slammed. Would try this place for dinner first next to e through the area.

Came for lunch a few months ago and now we tried breakfast. The breakfast portions are so big! We both got eggs, bacon, toast and home fries. The Home fries were delicious and everything was fresh and hot. I had a slice of melon with mine that was out of season but ok. Next time we will share! Great service, nice and busy on the weekend during ski season.

This was a pretty good restaurant but a bit off the way from most of the major resorts around here. Well, it is closer to Mt. Pocono if you are taking the NYC bus or staying right near there. I order the Spare ribs with the whiskey flavor to them, I was very disappointed. It was really not the tradition sense of baby back ribs. I like my ribs way more charcoal on the grill. The sauce too was a bit weird. I would say the place is really not that bad but I would order almost anything else next time I would be here. They are known for serving breakfast all day or until 3PM. IF you are somewhat near by, check it out, just order something different. The wait was kind of long to get food in my party of 6 people. It took almost an hour for everyone food to come out. I really should have ordered something seafood related. I think everyone else in my group did enjoy their meal though.

Traveling through on route 80 and just searched for good eats nearby. This place delivered. Seems like a family owned type place with a cute dining room, pub and outdoor patio. We had the fried mozzarella and a side of Mac n cheese to start, then the chalet burger and hot turkey sandwich as out mIn meal. Everything seemed freshly prepared and our server (Lynda, maybe??) was nice. All and all a solid place in the middle nowhere!

This place was amazing!! I live in the next town over and decided to give it a try. We arrived to find a packed parking lot and a line out the door. Despite that, we were seated in about 10 minutes. They were very busy so the service was probably a little slower than normal (it was a holiday weekend) but even so it was still average pace. My husband got the 2 eggs Benedict sampler (he got the country and pulled pork) both of which were excellent! It comes with coffee and a side of fresh fruit. I got the Blue Moon French Toast, which was AMAZING!! It was made with Challah bread and corn flakes, then topped with fresh strawberries blueberries bananas and dollops of homemade whipped cream. It was heavenly. The service was fast and friendly and the food was EXCELLENT! We will definitely be returning! Also, the line out the door never stopped the entire time we were there. There was a constant flow of traffic.

I've been here twice so far. Both times the service was slow. I was in the bar and the restaurant this most recent visit. I ordered a Cesar salad and did not get it for 40 minutes. The bar area was busy, but there is no way that it takes that long. The server was back and forth with food and it was only one plate so its not like he was too busy to get it from the kitchen. When I got the salad, it was cold so I know it was not sitting back there. It just took the kitchen 40 minutes to pour Cesar dressing over romaine lettuce. Over in the restaurant, the service was a little slow for my liking. However, after eating the best pot roast I've ever had, the service wait was just fine.

Hello happiness! Me and my bestest friend stopped after the Warrior Dash after seeing fellow Yelpers rejoice. Oh my! What a small piece of Heaven this place is...fit for foodies for sure! Wow! The atmosphere was cozy, homey, clean, comfy, and cabin- like. It was just what these cold warriors needed after our rainy run. We entered and were told it would be about 15 minutes. It was just that, a 15 minute wait, pretty much right on the nose. We were seated at a table in a corner. Our waitress promptly came to get our drinks. She came back with our coffee and water. She took our order and we relaxed and warmed our chilled bones. The coffee was terrific! It was terrific and hit the spot warming our cold bones. For our lunch, my bestest friend got the cranberry and walnut Belgian waffle. It could quite possibly be the best waffle I have ever tasted. Wow! So light and fluffy and even though loaded with cranberry and walnuts, not at all soggy. I chose the Blue Moon French toast and it was sublime! Three big, thick pieces of toast dipped and coated in corn flakes and then topped with blueberries, strawberries, and banana. Everyone knows that thick bread can sometimes mean soggy French toast. Not here, they have it down. It's perfect! And it was so darn pretty. Almost (almost) too pretty to eat. We also both had sides of home fried potatoes (terrific consistency, not too hard and not too smooshy). We were very happy when we were eating and when we finished. We kept sighing with contentment. We left full, happy, and warmed through. The waitress was phenomenal too! And the goodies at the check out, cookies are delightful too! If you are ever in the area, stop. It is worth it! If we are in the Poconos again next year for the Warrior Dash, we are there! Yum!

Went for Breakfast, the OJ is fresh, you get two YES two... Servers. 1 pouring coffee and 1 taking your order. Went with my family of 5, some of them are picky and don't know how not to be difficult when it comes to ordering food. The girl took it like a champ and had a smile on her face the whole time. place is clean, neat and refreshing. Saw they redid the outdoor deck and it looks great. So much food we had to take it home. This place will leave you feeling full and it's cheap!!!

We came here as there aren't too many options to eat out when we're at the speedway. The decor reminded me of a log cabin, the staff were super friendly, but the food was gross at best. We had a table of 11 people so a lot of food was ordered. From what was discussed, the shrimp wontons, although looked weird (whole shrimp, tail and all with a wonton half wrapped around it) were ok. I ordered the French dip which was pretty tasteless. It came way overstuffed with rare roast beef on a stale sub roll. I asked for provolone but they brought it with stinky swiss, yuck, which was immediately tossed off to the side. The quesadillas were over cooked, and they were out of fried pickles. The weird thing about this place was that they only sell chicken wings on Thursdays and Sundays and they tease it's patrons with signs about how they come in 11 different sauces and are award winning. Bogus. Meh.

Visited in a Thursday morning and the 2 of us got seated immediately. The menu has great options that are the standard fare with a twist such as an Irish omelet with corned beef, or the BBQ pulled pork omelet. Also loved that you could personalize a combo of 2 or 3 types of eggs benedict. Crispy bacon, huge mugs of coffee and friendly staff. Would definitely visit this place again next time I'm in the Poconos.

Moving from Philadelphia to the Pocono region I was having trouble finding a restaurant that I love and want to eat at every weekend. After having many terrible experiences at places in the area I found this amazing establishment. After my first experience the next few days I was on a kick, coming back and trying different dishes, everything from breakfast to dinner was amazing, and the service was also great. I can not wait to go have a wonderful meal and great experience here again.

I've always been a big fan of the food at The Jub. They're breakfast has god like qualities. For lunch and dinner my favorite is the Billy Burger. In my mind a burger with pulled pork and onions on top is heaven. Really the only problem with the Jubilee. Is that their is usually a wait and service is inconsistent. Sometimes great sometimes a bad. But I think the food makes up for negatives.

I went to Jubilee after getting several recommendations by some locals. We were seated right away and out waitress was excellent. The soups were flavorful and the drinks come served in extra large mason jars reminiscent of an older time. As far as the food goes, I had the BBQ Pork Shank, which was portioned beautifully and quite flavorful. The meat was quite dry and overdone, but was still tasty, so I'm on the fence about it, on the other hand the veggies were bright and crisp. I hear they're great for breakfast so I'll have to give it a try.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I were making a trip to Philadelphia so she could have lunch with a few friends, she hasn't seen in some time. We stopped here for Breakfast, because if she was going to have lunch with friends I was going to have breakfast in a scenic mountain restaurant. That's how a good relationship works, it's a give and take, everyday. We were pretty excited, because we usually only dine in and around Edwardsville, a place not known for it's culinary expertise but instead for it's growing crime rate and decaying buildings. Imagine our surprise when we entered Pocono Pines, to find buildings well kept and not a business in sight willing to give cash for old cell phones. A bit out of our element we ventured fourth to the Jubilee Restaurant - it says Van Gilder's Jubilee Restaurant on the mug I bought, I'm not one who goes about picking up swag at Restaurants, or the kind of person who uses the word swag. The coffee mugs, however, at this establishment can be only described as swag. And I think Van Gilder (whoever he is, if he is) was wise to choose them to accompany his customer's dining experience. (Could Van Gilder be a woman?) My girlfriend, the vegetarian, who thinks a piece of lettuce will guide her safely through a night of drinking, got the Lobster Benedict - to her surprise, it looked like actual food when it arrived on the plate (I only say this because she is what I consider menu-blind, she'll look over the menu and pick the one thing that the restaurant, with out a doubt, does not specialize in, it's like the Cook's Aunt Fran likes it, so they put it on there to appease Aunt Fran the one time she comes to town a year...) She engaged in it happily. I could hear her stomach's elitist cries of joy as the protein entered her body... she was in a good mood all day. I didn't know I'd be spending my day on a park bench, sweating - waiting for her lunch with friends to end - I didn't know that I would be approached my a Monk who I would offer five dollars to, who instead took ten - I didn't know a crack head would smack me from behind and say something in crack head speak - along the lines of oh yeah baby, or I'm gonna get that. I had no idea what was in store for me, so when I saw the heaping pile of gravy and biscuits on my plate, and I bit into the true breakfast flavors that only a Bacon Wizard or Egg Knight would understand as pure bliss, I was hopeful that it was going to be a good day. When my girlfriend collected me later at a store called 'Free People', where everyone was dressed like a pirate/genie or my brother's girlfriend, and I endured the false-sincerity that accompanies most people in the city of brotherly love, I knew for sure that the Jubilee Restaurant was with out a doubt the high light of a hot, frustrating day where I didn't get mine. But I hope, to God, that Van Gilder (he or she) Got there's, because with food and service like this - they deserve to get there's.

Excellent! After a weekend of crappy breakfasts near Lake Harmony and Split Rock, we decided to take a chance and drive 25 mins to this breakfast spot. It was a short wait but everything was worth it! They had healthy options, comfort food--everything! The decor is modernly rustic--a gem!

Kids wanted pancakes after a night of camping. Finding a family friendly place in the area proves to be tricky. Some places we passed by are bar/restaurant hybrids with (cigarette) smoky dining room and a bar in center. While the Jubilee does have a bar it is separate from dining area so you are ok with the kids. The noise from the loud crew in the bar was audible on the patio but it was entertaining. There are two dining areas: the restaurant and the patio. The patio is brand new and excellent for a warm day. We came late in the day (2:56pm), they stop serving breakfast at 3pm. They were very nice about letting us get the pancakes and eggs. The pancakes were great, worth the extra drive.

I've only been here for dinner, and the bar-- never breakfast, which I hear is their fortè. Anyway, my waitress was EXTREMELY nice. The food came out quick but my issue is the actual taste and 'quality' of the food was subpar. It sadly, seemed like 'low grade' meat or food. It's like the food was devoid of flavor. It's hard to explain what I mean exactly until you see for yourself--- if you're the foodie type. The bar is separate and the bartenders can actually make a pretty decent mixed drink... Even drinks typically considered "too fancy" or complex for the Poconos.

Great local spot! Warm and cozy, kind and helpful wait staff and delicious food. The pot roast was perfectly cooked along with the homemade mashed potatoes and really tastes brown gravy. The sweet potato fries were also really great. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

It's okay but I was expecting so much better. Stay away from the muffins - not as good as you'd expect being homemade and all. The coffee is okay but I wasn't blown away.

This place is a no no. The first thing that skeeved me out was shebang I came there in the summer there were spiders hanging all over the sign outside the doors. All over the entrance and the food was busy as bad. The food is ask pre made. And if it wasn't it sure looked like it did. I'm a chef and I know what pre made garbage looks like. This pave is good for kids that don't know good food or purple that don't know good food. But the bus and spiders outside the place was the sissy I've seen ever.

Great food, good prices, fast & friendly service. What more can you ask for? Was on a week long vacation in The Poconos with my husband and 2 children and we left full & content with the service and food. Definitely stop by! They have a pub, but it's a separate entrance so it's a very family friendly place with alittle bit of everything for everyone :)

My birthday is next week, and I decided to throw a party together on short notice. Jubilee is near my family home, and I've eaten there once or twice, so I decided to give them a call and see what could be catered. The answer is "Almost everything!" We ordered a few crowd pleasing pans of food. Baked ziti with sausage, eggplant parmesan, chicken wings, chicken quesadillas, and potato skins. The restaurant allowed us to order the skins without bacon, and they suggested that we choose from the six sauces for the wings but to serve the sauce on the side, allowing our guests to eat them without sauce if they preferred. We also ordered a bread basket, and fruit and veggie platters. Those simple modifications made such a big difference for us! Our guests had a wide range of dietary needs and restrictions, and by keeping the meat away from some dishes and the sauce away from others we were able to accommodate everyone. I hate to send people home hungry, and Jubilee was able to help me feed a crowd of 60+ people. The rolls were excellent, as was the service. With only a day's notice the restaurant was able to put everything together for us, have it all beautifully packed, and help up load it in the car. Communication was clear and well received, and continued after the event. The only small hitch was with the fruit platter. I did not bother to mention it to them, but wanted to pass this along so that it does not happen to others. My fruit platter included the standard pineapple, grapes, cantaloupe, but there was no honeydew to be found. Instead, the green "fruit" on the platter was cucumber. Now, cucumber is botanically a fruit, but much like a tomato is perceived as a vegetable in the US. It was out of place on the platter, and at the end of the day was almost totally untouched. Not worth a complaint at the time, and they made an excellent post party snack, but it was a small issue. EDITED TO ADD- I received an email from the restaurant, thanking me for the review and clearing up the oddity mentioned above. Apparently the cucumber had been meant for the veggie platter and was placed on the wrong platter by mistake. I really appreciate the note, and wanted to thank the owners for contacting me! I will gladly order from Jubilee again, and would recommend them to people looking for an affordable, simple catered experience.

Shouldn't even give it one star. Went here twice during our vacation thought a second chance would be better experience. NOPE. Service was horrible. Food not even average, I mean it's breakfast food. Came out luke warm after waiting an hour for it. Had to grab our own silverware. We will NOT be returning.

Wow. This place is in middle of nowhere but it's classy and has a great breakfast menu. Several types of eggs Benedict, which Kat had the country version and could not finish. I had choc pancakes w walnuts and banana. So full and happy right now. Oh, and the people are really nice too.

Seeking a local hotspot for a hearty breakfast? Search no more. Friendly, smiling service and great breakfast selections. We've enjoyed the Benedicts - crab cake and country, as well as omelets and skillet. Coffee is nice and hot, freshly brewed.

Don't go with a big party. They have no idea how long you are going to wait. The hostess and front desk is very rude. I strongly suggest you go somewhere else. There is no way the wings are worth the rude service and long waits Who in the world takes 110 minutes to order wings for takeout How atrocious this place is an absolute travesty and should be avoided at all costs.

Came here for breakfast this past weekend. Very pleasant experience. Really liked the menu options - I wanted something different and the crabcake eggs benedict with spinach and roasted peppers was perfect! Everything tasted good. Came with juice (pick from apple, tomato, orange and grapefruit). Everyone else seemed very happy with their breakfast as well. Oh and they serve Bloody Marys and Mimosas here :D They also sell six-packs of beer. Cute, country atmosphere with very friendly service. Big parking lot. Would definitely return.

I was hoping to really love this place but unfortunately my experience was lack luster at best. I got the Billy Burger and my wife got the Brady's Lake Chicken Salad and we ordered Shanghai Calamari to share. First the positives... we were seated pretty quickly which was great for a weekend. The food is reasonably priced & presents very well. And the portion sizes are pretty big. Now to the negatives... the calamari was a little chewy but the flavor was good so that was ok. My burger was way over done & very dry even though I ordered it medium. The pulled pork on top was also extremely dry too. Edible but I will not order a burger here again. And my wife's salad lacked flavor (especially in the chicken which I found weird). So all and all, I may try this place again and try different things on the menu or perhaps try breakfast instead.

I just moved up to the poconos, love it and love trying all these places . Jubilee by far is my favorite! My boyfriend ordered the chicken parm, 2 huge breast, not so thin. Very moist and Great flavorful marinara! Can't say that for many places up here, and there suppose to be NY'ers. Not. I had the chicken quesadilla! Delicious!! Everything was fresh.! Our waitress was great. Greeted everywhere! Loved it, I'll be back, can't wait to come back to try other yummi ness!!

We traveled 15 miles for what was billed as a great breakfast place. Happily it was worth the trip! The service was excellent, buckwheat pancakes were delicious, and the country sausage reminded me of what real breakfast food should be. Coffee is served in wonderful mugs (available for sale) and my friend said his omelette was excellent. Next time I am trying the Dutch scrapple!

Did not feel like waiting in a long line on a holiday weekend - so I ordered all the breakfasts to go. It was JUST as good! the pancakes, eggs, and even down to the coffee - all were huge and yummy! So glad that the restaurant was so accommodating to make the to-go option a possibility!

Big menu and good fresh food. Staff are friendly and attentive. Salads are if a great size and the fish, seeing as we were 100 miles from the sea, was very fresh and nicely grilled. It gets busy over the weekends and so be prepared to wait.

Atmosphere was nice and lively. Server was somewhat attentive. I asked for a refill from the server but wound up going to the bar to order it again because the server forgot. I wanted to try the "chicken and waffles" wing that they won with at the wing off but they weren't offering it on their wing night. Kinda disappointed with that so settled for another flavor. Wings were good though and my experience overall wasn't too bad. Looking forward to going back for wing night. Probably will sit at the bar this time.

Came here with a group of friends for brunch. Waited 20 mins just for drinks. Ordered Eggs Benedict which took another 20 to come out. It finally came out without hollandaise, cold and the egg were hard. WORST EGGS BENEDICT I'VE EVER HAD! Friendly wait staff would have warranted another star but staff was rude and inattentive. Would absolutely NOT recommend or return.

5 stars because Jubilee is the jewel of the Pocono restaurant scene and because there are so many bad joints up there. Been going here for 5 years during every stay in the mountains, it is a must. Have only had breakfast/brunch here and its perfect every time. Great service and they keep the menu fresh. Love their coffee, bloody marys arent bad either.... add a waffle to omelete entree for $1.50, done deal!

I have been here a few times, and each time I have come out satisfied. The first two times I came for breakfast, and the last for their wing special. Being from NY, I completely forgot about the "Blue Laws" when I ordered a bloody mary. It was 10:45am so I had to wait another 15 minutes before they put my drink order in...and what I got was ENORMOUS. Like literally a stein of bloody mary (which was overall a good drink). My boyfriend ordered the irish coffee, which was hard to put away. It was SUPER strong, and not in a good way. When we came for the wing special we had a few different beers and were very happy with their selection (there's a bar in the back). Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Their vegetables seemed fresh and my eggs were cooked very well. Buckwheat pancakes were OK, nothing to write home about. When we came for wings, my group asked for them extra crispy and they delivered. The sample platter that we got (which was 4 tiers of wings) were scrumptious, and every flavor wing was delicious! Great value for the price.

This place is a Pocono staple! we love it. Never a disappointment! Every thing comes in an awesome mug or a mason jar. If you're ever feeling sluggish from last nights activities, order the jubilee Bloody Mary! We love that they have carry out beer and a fun dive ish bar.

Ordered catering from here for 15 people and it couldn't of been better. Everyone liked the paninis, the pasta salad was good, and the salad was pretty fresh. Lastly but definitely not the least the chocolate chip cookies were amazing!! And you can't be the price!

The food is pretty standard fare. We had several early bird specials which were well priced. The service was great. Jen was very attentive and so cheery. We had 2 kids under 2 and she was great. The young man who brought us our food also had a very nice disposition. Everyone is super friendly and Jubilee is very affordable. The large mason jar drinks were impressive. Will return.

Jubilee was recommended by relatives as "ok" but I have to say that our experience exceeded our expectations. My fried chicken was moist and delicious, the steak sandwich was great, and the service was friendly. The other yelp reviews did not this place seem as NICE as it was. I'd definitely go again.

No bells and whistles here, but you can get a really good breakfast here at this sweet, comfy family owned restaurant. I'd go for the buckwheat pancakes or the super fresh farm eggs, along with an order of scrapple, a slice of hamsteak, and a sausage patty, all of which were too good to pass up. Much better than just stopping in at some run of the mill diner. Even the iced tea was terrific. Definitely a cut above anything else in the area.

Excuse me? Or I should say Howdy? lol First of all, I read some of the reviews on here, and couple bad reviews, but is really not that bad, I mean you are kinda in the middle of "No Where"!! What do you expect? I meeting couple of my friends here last week because they're a truck drivers and will stop in Pocono, PA before they heading back to the South, and since I have no..idea where is Pocono, PA and have no idea what they got here, my friends had to asked some locals where a good place to go For a small town, this restaurant will consider high end, not luxury, but above average in that town, and STILL, you can walk in wearing your P.J with the funny looking elf hat, no one will stop you, but will be asking "is the booth okay?" lol When we first walked in, the cashier was busy checking someone out, but she was very nice and look up telling us she will be right with us, which to me is always important, at least she is aware we are there Another party show up, and went in front of us, and another hosts show up about a minute later, took the other party to the table and cutting in front of us, now if that happens in Manhattan, I will give them hell. Well, is a New York thing. lol But I haven't seen my friends for over 2 years, I'm just excited seeing them again and trying to catch up The set up in this restaurant is very country, since I'm from the country, so I know exactly what I'm talking about Nothing really special on the menu that I will go "WOW", is a standard American Country Food, Gravy over more Gravy. lol I don't care what you say, but I do love it...... Just have to work out much harder after the meal here If you pass by, this place will be a good option, I will go back again if I'm in the area of course One more thing here, they seem to have lots of kids, many parents bring their kids here, maybe because is a small town, people have nothing to do but kept having babies, I dunno

WHY HAVE I NOT COME HERE BEFORE?! I've been frequenting the poconos since I was in the womb.....literally. Looking for a good breakfast place, since Perkins is a little played out for me after going there the morning before stumbled across this gem via yelp search and i couldn't be happier i did! I had a farmers market omelette? i think that was the name. GODLY. had it with egg whites, along with rye toast and the home fries (not the best home fries but the eggs made up for that times a million) Coffee was good too, bought myself a mug just to remember that omelette. everytime i open that cabinet in my kitchen and i see that orange mug staring at me, my mouth begins to water and i long for the omelette with the feta cheese and FRESH vegetables. i capitalize fresh because it makes a HUGE difference Boyfriend had the buckwheat pancakes, tried them and I super enjoyed those as well, but not as much as my omelette of course. I was the winner that day. Im going to go with 5 stars , because simply there aren't that many breakfast places around where i stay and comparing this place to all the other breakfast places i have experienced in that area is hands down best. Service is quick, friendly as well!

Great little place for breakfast in the Poconos. We end up stopping in here at least once every time we're staying in Lake Naomi or one of the nearby lakes. They offer a tasty and inexpensive breakfast. Can't beat that.

We moved to the area three months ago and had only found a couple (that's exactly two) of restaurants that we felt the food was edible. We then found an amazing deli. But we stumbled on this restaurant one day in our continued search for decent food places. We have been here twice and each time it has delivered. Great, great food and affordable. Our first trip was on a Saturday and we had a late breakfast. The place was full but we were seated immediately. I don't mind busy restaurants when they deliver the goods! We returned today for lunch and every dish was a hit. I was not a fan of the New England clam chowder but everything else was really incredible. I must add that the wait staff and greeters are very nice. If you are looking for a great place to eat in the Pocono area give this restaurant a try. Make sure you go early because apparently a lot of folks like it too.

So we went here on vacation and the staff is nice and the owner was kind. We had snuck in our mini chihuahua but when the owner say him he kindly told us that we can't have him. The food time was decent. So I order Lodge Chicken Sandwich and it was pretty good but the fries were pretty greasy. My dad order a steak and it can raw first then when we sent it back it look like the heated it in the microwave. I will not be coming back.

Happened to find this place through browsing yelp on our way up to the Poconos - stopped with my wife and 10 month old daughter. Staff is super friendly, food was very well priced and was delicious! I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my wife had a salad which was twice the size we were expecting (in a good way) and it tasted great. My wife liked how the highchairs came with their own tray which made it easy for my daughter to eat on. Would definitely stop here again if in the area.

what a great breakfast spot to find in the middle of nowhere poconos! was in town for a ski weekend and found this place on yelp. their prices are unbeleivably cheap--I got a small omelette, coffee, fruit and 3 pancakes for $7.95 and most deals were similar to the one I got. Coffee was good enough, pancakes were nice. The omelette could have been a bit larger and fluffier so I wouldnt necessarily recommend. The eggs benedict (both regular and crabcake) looked very good. If I was to come back I would do a benedict or pancakes but either way you get a lot for your buck at this place!

THE BEST!!!! The Jube is what makes the Poconos the Poconos! Such a great restaurant where you know you will always leave full! The Fries are too die for as well as the famous hot open turkey! Always great service can't wait to go back!

We arrived in the Pocono area yesterday and the weather took a huge turn for the worst. So we are looking at eating as a major activity instead of hiking, fishing, swimming, and otherwise NOT eating. Jubilee is virtually around the corner so we hit it up around 8:30am on Sunday. We had about a 10 minute wait. When we were seated we noticed a reused syrup bottle held what looked like milk...or cream...was on the table. That was odd since I thought even non dairy creamer should be refrigerated. In any event the service was good. The pancakes were REALLY dense. Not our style. The rest of the food was great like the waffles which are not made with the same batter as the pancakes, thankfully. The excellent coffee comes in big ole' mugs which is nice. Family atmosphere is a little loud but that comes with the territory. Prices were very reasonable. Interesting to note there are specials for breakfast, take a look! My wife was tempted to get the mimosa but decided to wait to start drinking alcohol until the pm. ;) Worth the trip. Hopefully the weather gets better!

One of the faves for breakfast. Know why they call themselves the bfast king. Their wings are great too. Always go here when we're in the area.

I suppose it's a bit unfair to be too harsh to the Jube, after all, there is a limited offering of places to eat in Pocono Pines. Plus, I've had some wonderful times eating here with large groups of friends when staying at a friend's mountain home, though that had everything to do with the wonderful people I was with and little to do with the food. Sadly, the Jubilee breakfast is not the enchanting culinary treasure that their claim of being "The Breakfast King" would suggest. Coffee is watery and your chances of getting a nearly-burned pancake seem to be about 50-50. An order of scrambled eggs is likely to be cooked to the point of being dry and deeply browned...to say they are "hard cooked" is an understatement. The potatoes are also underwhelming as they are both bland and bit watery. Biscuits are also tough, dry and flavorless and bacon is all over the map, from soggy and undercooked to nearly burnt. I've never had bad service in terms of orders coming out correctly and in an acceptable time frame, but the waitresses have always been rude and seemingly irritated. Some may find such crusty old servers quaint, but I just find it rude and poor service. Honestly, even IHOP does a better breakfast in all aspects, but as I said earlier, sit-down breakfast places are limited in this area, so you may as well go in with low expectations and take some comfort in having them met. My other piece of advice would be to go with the sausage gravy and biscuits. They do actually make half-way decent sausage gravy.

We stopped here for lunch and glad we listened to the Yelpers and went down the road rather than just getting off the road and going to one of the chains that line the highway. My parents got the lunch items and they seemed to be basic but they were good. My husband and I had the breakfast items (served until 2 or 3) that were delicious--the bacon tasted nice and locally made--I'll try to be back!

Not a fancy place but a cosy one. Great for a family dinner or quick bite, this place is consistently good. The prices are very reasonable as well. The food... The prime rib is outstanding! The salads are exceptional and there's a great selection of them. Not just your run of the mill chicken ceaser. The ice teas are awesome! Drinks come in large mason jars with free refills. Huge beers 20+ oz for reasonable prices. The only menu items we weren't completely happy with are the fried calamari (bland) and the crab cake sandwich (we've experienced Baltimore crab cakes which are in a league of their own) but they still weren't terrible. The waitstaff is extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Our waitress, Michelle was delightful and made some great recommendations. She knew the menu inside and out and made sure we had everything just as we wanted it. In the Pocono area this place is hard to beat.

Great place to have breakfast/brunch in the Poconos! Would definitely go back during my next trip to Pocono. This old hut in the middle of almost nowhere is a nice addition to the town and is the morning home for so many visitors and locals.

We went on a sat. Night. It was pretty crowded. Put my name is and a woman behind the counter asks if we put our name in and they in a very loud mean tone says you can not stand in here, isn't there room outside or in the bar.that was very unprofessional. If it was not so late I would have walked out. After we sat down we waited 5-6 minutes before anyone came to our table. The food was good. Just the people were not that Friendly.

I've been here a few times now, it's my go to place when I go up to the poconos. The ribs are excellent, fall off the bone. The specials are always good, last time we had gouda and macaroni bites which were out of this world. We had pulled pork quesadillas the first time we came here and every time we come back, we hope it's on the menu, but sadly it's not. We also tried the lodge burger last time and I must say, steer clear. The price was good, fries were crispy but the burger was nothing more than a tiny, thin frozen burger you can get at any supermarket. We will definitely be back, but won't be ordering any more burgers.

I have been here several times in my life, havig lived in the Poconos for 11 years, and the food is usually good, especially their wings on thursdays. A group of friends and myself went for dinner, and all food was terrible. Onion rings (appetizer) were over cooked, as were friends chicken fingers, my cheeseburger, and a few friends cheeseburgers as well. Food and service were both awful, as three different people took time to serve our table. We received drinks from one person, appetizers from a second, and our dinner from a third. The first server who brought us drinks brought us the check, and five minutes later, the third server came over and asked us if anyone brought us out check yet. I will not be going back unless it is on a thursday night for wings.

I'll add the caveat that I didn't come here for breakfast, but an early dinner but a below average experience, even for Poconos cuisine. The service was so slow that we started to draw straws to see who would be the first one eaten. After 20 mins, they brought out the appetizer. 20 more minutes after clearing the app, they brought my small dinner salad. The food was diner quality but frankly, sub-diner service.

The Jub is good. I would not say great. They are famous in the area for their wings but not outside the area. I find the wings to be good, but not exceptional. The Jub is really best for breakfast, or a local dive-ish bar. It is fair to say that if it weren't for the attached restaurant, you could call the bar a dive. They only serve wings twice a week, what the heck is up with that?

I used to come into the Jubilee all the time a few years ago, but moved away and recently moved back. Pleased to say that little has changed. Still a comfortable, clean place to eat with great food and friendly staff.

I have been trying for a month to find a single good restaurant in the Poconos. I consulted Yelp and decided to try out Jubilee since it has been packed every time we've driven by. Apparently the cars were all degenerates at the bar because there were 2 people eating when we went in. Let me just say there is some bare sheet rock on the walls in there. Not pretty, as others have mentioned. I will no longer consult reviews regarding the Poconos because apparently people here have nothing when it comes to standards. I don't usually like to use specifics, but this place was so bad it doesn't deserve to be protected. We ordered spinach artichoke dip, the ribs and a chicken sandwich. The dip was definitely from a can and took 40 minutes to come out. The waitress came out and said "Oh, let me get you some chips with that." Wow, thanks. We then received our dry overcooked or possibly microwaved meals. Never had meat this dry ever. The waitress also brought my boyfriend the wrong meal after we had waited for 45 minutes. She didn't even apologize and then charged us the extra money. She said she was glad we weren't complaining about it so that she wouldn't get in trouble. Unfortunately this mistake lost her a tip. Also the first time in my life I haven't left a tip. Bottom line: Horrible food, horrible service, decrepit interior

I've been going to the Jubilee Restaurant all of my life. In the summers I go to The Poconos to spend time at my family's cabin, and Jubilee has been a staple of our eating-out experiences up there for years. They have fantastic breakfast and lunch items (for some reason i can't recall going there for dinner, but they are open for dinner). I recommend they "garbage omelette" or the "garbage salad," both of which are filled with a smorgasbord of various items (chef's choice), and they are absolutely delicious. And don't forget to use their homemade jams (which can be purchased by the jar on your way out). My favourite has always been the Apple Cinnamon jam. Mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about Jubilee. I wish I lived closer! Everyone is so friendly, the food is SO good... it's always a popular place with the locals. (They also have a pub out back called "Pub In The Pines." I've never gone there, but apparently it's quite the place for night life)

Don't miss the before 9 a.m. breakfast here!! I love the 2 2 2 ! for $2.22. Two eggs, Two pancakes, Two bacon. Service is great and dinner menu and bar fun to go to with all their specials. Always stop when driving through to have a meal there.

Not sure why this place got so many good reviews. My boyfriend and i went based on the good things said about it and were highly disappointed. The food was mediocre and was almost like a diner/Denny's... there are def better places to go.

Went for a date night during a family vacation in the Lake Naomi community adjacent to this restaurant. No complaints. We happened to go on a wing night so we had some various wings. These were the highlight of the meal especially the asian ones... I think they were "Thai" style. Cocktail was pretty standard, and our food (meatloaf for my husband and a salad for me) was basic but well prepared. Probably the best restaurant in the area from our experience. We arrived pretty early for dinner and were seated promptly, but on our way out I noticed a huge line, so go early! If we're in the area again I would go back.

Service is good. Space layout and kid friendly is very good. Cocktail drinks are made with very little alcohol as I ordered a Frozen Margarita and Cadillac Margarita thinking they were soft drinks. Food was just Ok and nothing special but then again you are in the Poconos so my NYC standards. Would come back again when in the region of Poconos.

This place is "hiding" and I stumbled upon it on one of my many trips to NJ. I learned from the waitress that it was wing night so, ordered a dozen. I went with the Tennessee sweet wings and true to the name... The wings were heavily sauced, sweet, yet tasty. I also, went with a Cobb salad and silly me forgot to factor in that it was an entree. I just ordered way too much food. Oh well, eat I must. The Cobb salad was well prepared and the vinaigrette dressing was very good. I was disappointed that the salad came with diced red onions. I missed that on the menu, but I believe onions are not part of a traditionally Cobb salad. Spent several minutes picking those out. The service was very nice and friendly. My entree, or should I say my two entrees came out on time and I was pleased that I was given plenty of napkins. These were needed because of the saucy wings. Overall, service nice, food decent, but typical American restaurant food.

The place has been renovated, I have to say what a big difference!!!! It felt really nice and welcoming. The front desk person was friendly and made us feel right at home. The service was outstanding!! The coffee was actually good. My eggs were scrambled soft YUM!!! MY Hun's Dagwood Omelet was outrageous, Man vs. Food The Omelet Won!! Sadly I have never had Buckwheat Pancakes and they were GROSS! I'm A Buttermilk Pancake Girl. Overall it was a good breakfast experience.

4 star food, 5 star friendliness, 3 star pace of service. We were visiting friends at a cabin in Pocono Pines, and this was our one meal out. We arrived late in the afternoon on a Saturday, with a hunger in our bellies and a thirst for water + alcohol. There was no one to greet us at the door, but a friendly customer playing pool said we could just seat ourselves outside. When I came back in to get a drinks list, he was flagging down a server to let her know we'd arrived. She saw we were there, and brought us silverware and napkins and was quick to give us a smile and hello...but then walked away without offering us drinks or water. We encountered about 6 more servers in the next hour and a half. There seemed to be a lot of confusion over who was getting us what, what we had received, who had asked us what we wanted and what we needed next. The good news was EVERYONE who waited on us was very nice. Accommodating, helpful, polite. We never really felt ignored, but sometimes a little turned around about who we should ask for things. The pace of the meal, once stuff started coming out, was fine! We ordered some amazing Pocono Poutine (gravy and cheese fries!) and cocktails to start - a pitcher of Prickly Pear margaritas and the "Bloody Man." This giant version of a bloody mary came out in a mug over a foot high, piled with pickles, peppers, olives, limes, lemons and it's own tiny bacon cheeseburger! In NY or Philly, this drink would run you at least $20. But at Jubilee, it was $9.50! And it was nice and spicy. We enjoyed our drinks and the appetizer, and were brought not long after our meal - sliders galore with thick cut fries, buffalo chicken tenders and salad and a special request - a plate of pickles! Overall, we enjoyed our meal and hoped that all of the confusion was the cause of new staff or a strange alignment of the planets. I'd definitely come back on our next trip to the Poconos!

I have been coming here for years and my review is for dinner. We showed up and were told it would be a 45 minute wait. After almost an hour we found the woman who said she called us and moved on, when we told her we'd be waiting at the bar. She looked so busy I guess she forgot, no harm no foul, we got a table. We were sharing a caesar salad with dinner and asked for it to come out all at dinner time with the exception of one appetizer. Unfortunately our wishes were not met and we got it with the appetizer. I bit into the caesar salad and it had absolutely no dressing. Not to mention, I thought the lettuce was turning brown and realized it was actually reddish brown mildly spicy seasoning covering the croutons. If they didn't forget the dressing, it would have been the most bizarre caesar salad I ever had. I sent it back and it was taken off the bill. Cheese and gravy fries were delicious though, as was the Jubilee Smash. The drink came in a cute jar to drink from and was pink and delicious and sweet. For dinner, it took ages to come to us, it was already getting dark and we had been in the restaurant for hours at this point (counting the wait at the bar). The waitress was busy and did not come by to ask anyone if they would like another drink. Finally the food came out and it was pretty bad. I got the ribs, which were okay. On the side was the driest most unappetizing baked potato I've ever had in my life. The soggy vegetable medley of squash and broccoli tasted better. Someone in the group ordered a burger and asked the waitress for tomato and raw onion. She got the tomato, and asked for the onion about 2 more times. It never came. And, to my surprise, was a 60 cent charge for the tomato on the bill. Really? You're going to charge 60 cents for a piece of tomato on a HAMBURGER? Someone else in the group got the shrimp scampi. I would have told her that was a bad choice but she soon saw for herself why you don't get scrimp scampi in the Poconos. I like to give Jubilee the benefit of the doubt and think they were trying to get creative and create "Poconos Ramen." Basically, it was watery and disgusting. Like they didn't drain the water before adding the sauce. I'd say to go to another restaurant but the reason people go to Jubilee is because where else is there to go besides Jubilee in Pocono Pines? I wish we stayed home and made sandwiches instead.

This place is a amazing. Its so nice and pretty inside the restaurant. It feels very homie inside , Everyhting is made out of wood inside the restaurent. We came here after coming from the Pococns Race way . Me , my hubby and my brother came here and the food was very on point . It's very fresh like something of homemade . I gotten the pulled pork quesadilla and it was amazing good . My hubby gotten the chicken tendons and fires and he said it was very good as well . You have to try the they are out of this world , very tasty and yummy . The prices weren't so bad it was up 5$ and up . This is a must place to come and check out .

Not great. My friends and I came here for dinner after skiing at Jack Frost, but the utensils were not clean at all. The entire table's knives and forks still had leftovers on them (will post up photos), so be careful! I ordered the chicken with stuffing and mashed potatoes, but the chicken was extremely dry. The steak, based on my friend's review, also was dry. Maybe it's better for brunch/breakfast, but I'd consider going somewhere else for dinner.

My boyfriend and I stayed at a nearby B&B and came here around 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights and there were a lot of people here! The service was friendly and quick, and our food came out quickly. We were surprised by how good the food was because of how quickly we received it. We were very happy and satisfied with our meal. And the menu has a pretty good array of choices and the drinks in mason jars were a cute touch!

(4)Bob D.

(5)Christina O.
My go to place when I want a good place to eat good prices, clean everyone is really nice. THEY GIVE YOU A FREE BIRTHDAY MEAL!! Overall a really nice little place to spend with family or even by youself.
(4)Silver G.
(4)Cynthia H.
Been on vacation 5 days Best food we've had yet! Would definitely come back. Was recommended from a friend whose parents frequent it. The lava cake was YUMMY!!!!!
(5)Allie V.
Great local spot! Warm and cozy, kind and helpful wait staff and delicious food. The pot roast was perfectly cooked along with the homemade mashed potatoes and really tastes brown gravy. The sweet potato fries were also really great. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
(4)Joseph D.
It's okay but I was expecting so much better. Stay away from the muffins - not as good as you'd expect being homemade and all. The coffee is okay but I wasn't blown away.
(2)Dmitry D.
(1)Jamie L.
We are from out of town and wanted a good breakfast. They were phenomenal. Great food options and great coffee. I am gluten free and they had plenty of options. Much better then other local diners.
(5)Vince W.
I visit frequently. I never really had a bad visit. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Weekends are packed! Be prepared to wait at least 15-20 for a table, thats a good thing! I def. recommend this place to everyone.
(4)Shane C.
This place is awesome. Staying at arrowhead Lake and it's a short 10mins away. Bartender Keith was a really nice guy made me and friend feel welcome awesome selection fair prices.
(4)Iliana W.

(4)Sonya S.
(1)Mike B.
great breakfast spot. have some unique breakfast items. busy place so get there early if you don't want to wait. everything I have ever had was good.
(4)Ken L.
Wow. This place is in middle of nowhere but it's classy and has a great breakfast menu. Several types of eggs Benedict, which Kat had the country version and could not finish. I had choc pancakes w walnuts and banana. So full and happy right now. Oh, and the people are really nice too.
(5)E L.
Seeking a local hotspot for a hearty breakfast? Search no more. Friendly, smiling service and great breakfast selections. We've enjoyed the Benedicts - crab cake and country, as well as omelets and skillet. Coffee is nice and hot, freshly brewed.
(5)Jeff H.
(1)Maria E.

(2)Doreen C.
(5)Ilya Y.
Best burger i ever ate came from here. All the food is good, and isn't pricey. Portions are also generous. Also they have a free meal on your birthday special.
(5)Bill K.
6 of us for breakfast having everything from crab cakes Benedict to pecan crusted French toast. All dishes were amazing, coffee was great, and service was outstanding. I'll detour over to this next time I am in the area.
(5)Sam E.
Wings were dry and over cooked. Special sauce is clear flem.
(2)Omayra S.
Very nice!!! stopped in during a family trip in Tannersville. The New England Clam Chowder is a must. Nice people nice atmosphere. I would deffy come back. Overall, food was great.
(4)Robert C.
(4)Napkin Freak C.
(4)Olly D.
Big menu and good fresh food. Staff are friendly and attentive. Salads are if a great size and the fish, seeing as we were 100 miles from the sea, was very fresh and nicely grilled. It gets busy over the weekends and so be prepared to wait.
(4)Ed S.
Very good diner. Family atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious. Almost 5 stars..... mixed orders.
(4)Bill E.
(4)Fox L.
(1)Courtney H.
This place was a very quaint and wonderful! The Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad was a pleasant surprise and very delicious. Service was great as well. Would definitely go here again if I am ever in the area again.
(5)Jeff K.
(5)Henry Q.
As a visitor in the area, this place is a must try diner. Food is like home cooked not greasy at all and inexpensive. Make sure to know the location coz it says incorrect thru google maps.Have to call Jubilee twice.
(4)Debbie L.
Jubilee Restaurant is a must stop in the Pocono Pines neighborhood. Friendly staff, laid back country atmosphere and outstanding food at a great price. They also have great weekend entertainment. I stop in there once a week, every week! -Deborah Lash
(5)Ashley W.
Such a jubilant place :0) coffee in the morning is so so tasting. Good poached eggs the art in making them alone is challenging. Friendly atmosphere and employees
(4)Kathleen B.
(3)Brittany B.
This place is a Pocono staple! we love it. Never a disappointment! Every thing comes in an awesome mug or a mason jar. If you're ever feeling sluggish from last nights activities, order the jubilee Bloody Mary! We love that they have carry out beer and a fun dive ish bar.
(5)Leah T.
Ordered catering from here for 15 people and it couldn't of been better. Everyone liked the paninis, the pasta salad was good, and the salad was pretty fresh. Lastly but definitely not the least the chocolate chip cookies were amazing!! And you can't be the price!
(4)Renee H.
(4)Alix H.
Jubilee was recommended by relatives as "ok" but I have to say that our experience exceeded our expectations. My fried chicken was moist and delicious, the steak sandwich was great, and the service was friendly. The other yelp reviews did not this place seem as NICE as it was. I'd definitely go again.
(4)Debbie W.
(4)Kenny T.
(4)Kimberly M.
(5)Matt A.
Ribs were regretful no smoke cooked with membrane intact. Meh
(2)Mandy H.
Great little place for breakfast in the Poconos. We end up stopping in here at least once every time we're staying in Lake Naomi or one of the nearby lakes. They offer a tasty and inexpensive breakfast. Can't beat that.
(5)Naomi L.
(5)Hector V.
(2)Mike L.
(5)Lindsay S.
what a great breakfast spot to find in the middle of nowhere poconos! was in town for a ski weekend and found this place on yelp. their prices are unbeleivably cheap--I got a small omelette, coffee, fruit and 3 pancakes for $7.95 and most deals were similar to the one I got.
(4)Leigh C.
THE BEST!!!! The Jube is what makes the Poconos the Poconos! Such a great restaurant where you know you will always leave full! The Fries are too die for as well as the famous hot open turkey! Always great service can't wait to go back!
(5)Rob E.
(4)Richie D.
One of the faves for breakfast. Know why they call themselves the bfast king. Their wings are great too. Always go here when we're in the area.
(4)Alex O.
(2)Diane C.
(4)Carmine F.
(4)Beyshyh W.
cute and charming family style restaurant in pocono pines. came here for breakfast. everything was good and atmosphere very cozy. would come again if ever in the area. love the big mugs hot beverages come in :)
(4)Ed K.
Great place to have breakfast/brunch in the Poconos! Would definitely go back during my next trip to Pocono. This old hut in the middle of almost nowhere is a nice addition to the town and is the morning home for so many visitors and locals.
(5)N L.
(3)Vahan A.
All tasted awesome. Service was as well awesome. Recommended for any age!
(5)Jessica R.

Enjoyed a great dinner! Bill provided excellent service!

Great diner in the Pocono Pines area. Plenty of options on the menu, with some hearty and delicious salad options. Tasty iced tea and lemonade beverages.

Love the Pub! I have been there many times and love the food there also. They have very good specials and the menu is great. The new renovations look great as well. I also like the entertainment there as well.
